Hi everyone! Welcome to my System Design blog. This should take on more definite shape in the next few weeks.
I have published below my first bit of homework - mapping out a kitchen. They are both middling quality jpg files - I will experiment with large image files at a later date.
The first file is 'kitchen diagram LARGE' which shows on the far left the five 'classes' of activ
ity/object that exist in a kitchen, followed but a subset of objects/activities which are then again broken down in to more specificity.
The second file 'kitchen diagram PROCESS' shows on the far right what processes are done in the environment 'kitchen' and the arrows attempt to show connectivity.
I would like to revisit this diagram later on and attempt a UML model and see just how my new understandings of both OOD and UML reshape the look of all this.
